Te Amo - Learn Spanish for Love

You might know that there are many reasons for wanting to learn Spanish fast. Some people learn it because of their business, while others learn it because they are traveling to a Spanish-speaking area. Still other people learn because they have fallen in love with a native Spanish speaker!

Falling in love is an exciting time, and it makes you feel like you are floating on air. However, if the person you fall in love with speaks a different language, it can be difficult to communicate. This language barrier probably won’t affect you as much at first, but you’ll probably find that it makes more sense for you to learn Spanish to speak to the person you love so you can communicate with one another more easily.

This is probably one of the most motivating reasons out there! Sure, it’s great to learn for business reasons — but the motivation is not intrinsically there. When you have fallen in love and you need to learn this language to communicate with someone, you are automatically intrinsically motivated.

You might even say that those who are learning Spanish for reasons of love are able to learn more quickly than those learning for other reasons. That’s because your motivation is so prevalent. Another reason why you might be able to learn more quickly is because you have the benefit of having a native Spanish speaker right by your side.

Your lover will probably be thrilled that you are making an attempt to learn their language. The chances are very good that they would love to help you with your pronunciation and vocabulary. Try to only speak Spanish to one another so you’re not hesitant to fall back on English!

This is a great way of immersing yourself in the language! You’ll find that after a couple months of doing this, speaking Spanish promise becomes like second nature. You may not be fluent at this point, but you will be able to communicate with your significant other.

Many people do silly things because they are in love. Learning a language is not one of them! This is a great relationship builder that will bring you closer together than you ever thought possible. You were able to fall in love even though there are language barriers — so imagine what will happen when those barriers are knocked down! Learning Spanish is quite possibly one of the most important decisions you can ever make if you’re in a relationship with a native Spanish speaker.
